Eva McBel se trasladó a Madrid a los 18 años, su carrera comenzó a despegar mientras tocaba en muchos de los locales más emblemáticos de Madrid.
Su primer EP, Some Kind of Portrait, escrito principalmente en inglés y con referencias musicales que abarcaban desde Jacob Banks a The Lumineers, obtuvo reconocimiento internacional, apareciendo en programas de la televisión australiana, en la radio estadounidense y en series como Neighbours, Élite y The Ferragnez.
A partir de ahí, fueron sus actuaciones en directo las que cimentaron su reputación. Ha sido telonera de artistas como Paolo Nutini, Dean Lewis y Amaral, y ha actuado en algunos de los festivales más prestigiosos de España, como el San San Festival y el Sonorama, así como en el prestigioso Reeperbahn Festival de Alemania.
Su álbum de debut, I’m Glad You Happened, repasa con orgullo su trayectoria vital para culminar en un disco de pop emocionante y cuidadosamente pensado. Llevando al oyente a través de los rincones de la responsabilidad emocional y las raíces de la artista, demuestra no solo un crecimiento musical significativo desde su primer EP, sino también una capacidad de exploración en el vasto paisaje emocional que ha cultivado a lo largo de los años.

Eva McBel moved to Madrid at the age of 18, and her career began to take off as she played in many of the city’s most emblematic venues.
